hi i am thinking about developing a website which will feature a tool that will enable users to create a custom holiday package based on available activities i.e. they can mix and match whatever they want to create their dream holiday. has anyone encountered any such functionality anywhere on the web? or even better is there already some modx extension which i could extend for my purposes? thanks
After they created their custom holiday packages, what happens next? Are they checking out and buying them? Then you need some kind of shopping cart functionality. Or are they just making reservation or ordering information and submitting their choices? Then maybe you can use eForm. It depends on how you want to present the options

At the moment the plan is to have a normal submission so that the tour operator can check that the custom tour can be done, then a confirmation email is sent to the customer directing him to the buying page.
