So I’m logged in with the main administrator account. I can’t get into one of the snippets. Another manager user was editing it and either kept it open when they left work for the weekend or MODx still thinks they’re logged in.
Is there a way to force a user to logout? Maybe a variable in the database?
Is there a way to set a time limit on how long a user stays logged in?

Okay, the locks are removed, but the user may later on come back and saves his changes without knowing that I worked on it. I would like to be able to make him login again, so he needs to work with my changes.
Check the "Lock snippet for editing" checkbox. The user won't be able to edit it until you unlock it.
