What I’m working with: MODx 0.9.6, Ditto 2.0.2, PHx 2.1.3

So here’s my problem: I’ve got values within a &tpl for my Ditto snippet call that I am trying to make change based on PHx. I had similar issue like this awhile back which I was able to resolve, but this particular instance is creating new problems that I can not fix.

Here’s the problem and the logic behind what I’m trying to accomplish:

    1. The Ditto call:
    [!Ditto? &startID=`239`&tpl=`featuredproducts` &id=`featuredproducts` &sortBy=`pub_date` &summarize=`100` !]

    2. Here is the value for &tpl=`featuredproducts` which uses PHx:
    [+fpex_switch:is=`0`:then=`<a href="[+fel_ahref+]" target="_blank">`:else=`<a href="[~[+product1ahref+]~]">`+]<img id="pagesbodycontentfeaturedproductimg" src="[+product1+]" /></a>

    3. [*fpex_switch*] is the T.V. in PHx in step 2. On the document itself, when the manager chooses 0, PHx chooses the "then" statement:
    `<a href="[+fel_ahref+]" target="_blank">`

    4. Here’s where the problem comes in: The Ditto output works great with the PHx except for one thing. The T.V. in step 2, [+fel_ahref+] outputs nothing even though I have entered a value in the T.V. area of the document itself. The only part it doesn’t output is the T.V., but the rest (<a href=" " target="_blank">) is outputted showing me that the PHx component is working, but for some reason the T.V. is not working. I even put the placeholder outside of the PHx and it works fine, but when placed in the PHx, it stops working.

Hopefully I’m making sense, but it’s something that seemingly should be easy to figure out, but is not.
