cant login as web user

Hello.

I have a few installation of modx .95 and .96, and I cant login as webuser on .96. I am getting a invalid username and password. I am sure it is a webuser, and the username and password is valid.

And to add; I can log into the 0.95 system but not the 0.96. They are not using the same database, but the setup is the same.

Any ideas?

Anyone being able to use the web login in 0.96?

Hmmm... I just updated my sottwell.com site from 0.9.5 to 0.9.6.1, and the login that was working just fine now gives me the "include ordering error" message!

I’ll be looking into this and see if I can figure out what’s going on. This is a basic WebLogin snippet call.

Thanks for looking into it. It it possible to download 0.95 anywhere? I think i need to go back until I can get this working.

I got modx095 from the svn repository.

Ok... when I did the upgrade, I didn’t upload or update the WebLogin snippet, and apparently there were some changes. I have uploaded the weblogin folder from the 0.9.6 archive, and copy/pasted the snippet code from the install folder. Now it works.

I just cant login. I have tried on 3 different 096 installations on 3 different servers. And on the 095 i installed yesterday I have no problems!

Hmm. After doing the page not cached, it works.

Is this somethig different between 095 and 096 the way it is caching?

Yes; see http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/865 -- I believe the use of one of the regClientCSS or getClientScript functions is causing the problem with the weblogin snippet in the 0.9.6 release. The problem has been fixed in the SVN trunk. An official maintenance release (0.9.6.1) will be out shortly that includes these fixes.
