    Hello Everyone:

I’m working on a website for a client. The website was built by a programmer which no longer works with me, so he’s not around to help with an error that I’m receiving.

When we edit a page and click "OK," it edits the content of the page. However, it’s displaying an error that says the following:

"Warning: fopen(../assets/cache//siteCache.idx.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/wtccpa/public_html/manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php on line 199
    Cannot open file (../assets/cache//siteCache.idx.php)"

    Here’s some specifics:

Site: www . wtccpa . com (please remove the spaces)

    PHP Version: 4.4.7
    Apache 1.3.37 (unix)
    CentOS Enterprise 4.4

    MySQL 4.1.22

    MODx version: 0.9.5

Plugins: This site has a file upload feature that my original developer installed. I’m not sure how much of the feature is custom and how much is pre-made. I can tell you, however, that the cms has worked properly since this feature was installed.

Changes I’ve Made: The site was moved to a new server recently. I thought everything was working properly after the move, but then I found this issue. I’m not sure if it’s due to the server change or not.

Browser: I’ve encountered the same problem on both Netscape for Mac OSX and Firefox 2.0.0.6 for Windows.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

    JB

      JB:

As the error indicates, the assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php file is not readable (or writable) by the PHP process. You’ll need to change ownership or permissions to this file so that it does; and likely to any other files in this directory you transferred from the previous server.
