Any ideas how to set the media source via MIGX Configurator when you specify the input TV type as image.

I can see see media source tab (see attached) but not sure what settings to use.

I know instead of using "Input TV type" I can use "Input TV" and create a new image TV with the media source set there, but be nice to be able to use "input TV" so I don't have to create multiple TVs for each different media source.

    Is it possible?

Yes, and it turns out to be rather simple, just lacking in documentation.

Under the Media Sources tab click 'Add Item' to add a source. Give it a context of web and type in the id number of the media source you want to use.

Thanks jgrant, I actually had those settings to start with but was only pressing done on that overlay and not closing them all down. Seems as if the changes are only made once done has been hit on all overlays, which makes sense. i was just being lazy.

        Thanks again.

          Hi there,

          I'm having a similar issue.
I want to select images from a certain media source but save the whole path (including the mediasource base path) to the database.
Does anyone know how to do this?

          thanks,

may I ask, what's the reason you want to store the whole path with the image to the db?

it should be possible to add the path in a onDocFormSave-plugin
but you will need to remove the path again, before rendering the form.
