    Hi,

just got my hands on MODx, which looks very promising to me.

Installation went through completely without any error, I’ve also installed the sample page(s), so that I can mess around with content immediately.
Now the weird thing is that the manager works well, but when I click on the "Preview" button (which should lead me to the actuall website I guess, according to the URL ...), nothing gets loaded (no error msg, nothing, there’s not one single HTML-Tag or anything in the loaded page when looking at its source code).

Now I’m wondering if I have to set change anything in the manager from the default installation to get the sample website be displayed ? Here some infos about my installation:

    - NO local installation, used my own php-enabled webspace
    - PHP Version 5.2.4
    - mySQL Version 4.1.11
    - MODx Version 0.9.6, complete default installation
    - Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.7
    - Win XP SP2

Would be nice if someone coudl spend some minutes helping out a very MODx-interessted noob laugh

    Thanks in Advance,
    Sem

Run an upgrade of Modx and overwite the sample site again. Dont do near the manager and see if you can see the sample site.
Also upload a frsh copy of Modx to your server.

I had something similar, I think if you search for "white screen" or the "white screen of death" you will find a couple of helpful posts. the above worked for me.
