All Links Are Not Working

Hi There,

I don't have a lot of experience with modx so bare with me.

I installed revo 2.2, installation went fine, loaded in all my content but now none of my links work? Regular nor friendly.

I have <base href="[[++site_url]]" /> below my title in my header

I tried linking like this <a href="[[*1]]"> & this <a href="[[*sample]]">. Neither worked. Whatever i click it just stays on my homepage...

Let me know what kind of info you need?

Also, I know this is to do with my .htaccess but not im not sure how to solve. When you go to the domain it comes up as www.domain.com/public_html/Public_html .... .... ...

My .htaccess sits above my public_html directory

I assume you are linking to a document? You should then use ~.

where 42 is the document id.

That .htaccess is probably part of the url problem. Unless you need .htaccess above the public_html folder for some reason (doesn't look like you need it for php), then don't use it. The .htaccess that you need for MODX is named ht.access and is located in install folder for MODX (came with the MODX installation). Modify that file if needed and leave it in the root/install folder.

But don't forget to rename it to .htaccess.
