One of the most infuriating things about Revolution is that it doesn't ask you to save or do you really want to leave a page when accidentally leaving a document.

This is all the more frustrating as it seems to ask you that question for everything else but the one instance where you really need it.

As others have pointed out, it's very easy to hit a wrong link when editing a document and working in the back end.

When you do, you lose everything you've been working on, there's no option to save it before you get taken to the new location.

In Evo, at least it asked you if you really wanted to leave and save the document before editing.

Unfortunately no such option exists in Revolution.

This seems like a huge oversight.

Is there any way to force Revolution to ask you to save a document if you accidentally hit one of the manager or tree menu items?

    • Yes, that is an annoying situation with Revo. Especially with this trackpad I get a lot of unintentional "clicks" when scrolling around on a page.

+1 for asking before leaving an unsaved page =), happened quite a few times to me. It would also be nice to implement something like HTML5 local storage to keep the changes until they're saved...

Is this in the tracker already?

Apart from the interface "idiosyncrasies" and a Resource Tree that seems to have a mind of its own, I'm really starting to get the hang of Revo, mind you it took me a long time to finally switch from Evo.

Plenty of false starts along the way.

          • I know the feeling wink and there are times when I almost start to backslide, then I learn some new really neat feature of Revo and am charmed all over again.
