A Simple Script to test your server for MODX readiness

I put together a simple script that tests a server for the basic MODX requirements: https://github.com/craftsmancoding/modx_utils/blob/master/modx_ready.php

I was pulling my hair out as to why the setup process would not complete... turns out I had forgotten to compile some stuff into PHP.

To use this, just paste the contents of the script into a file on your site, then hit it in a browser.

This script is another MODX utility (see the Github project). If you're having trouble after moving a site, you can test to make sure that your configuration details are correct via another utility script:

Does anyone else have tips/tricks here to make sure MODX will work on a new server?

Will come handy if I should ever have troubles like that (though hope not =D)!

I think your scripts should somehow be incorporated into the setup of modx (like the built in check) or isn't this possible because to run /setup/index.php modx readiness is already required?

I'd like to see better tests done by MODX during runtime... not sure where or how to modify the current behavior.
