Localized email system settings

Hello to all,

I'm new in using Modx revolution. I searched the forum and google but I have not found an answer to my question.
Is there a way to translate into the user's language of the mail that is sent when we add it in modx

I've never used it myself but I would guess you could start by looking at the Babel add-on http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Babel and setting up different contexts for different languages.

Also look at the lexicon - http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/modX.lexicon

Thank you for your reply, I had already found (and tested) these two solutions but,
  - With BABEL I see how to translate pages but not system settings
  - I think lexicon corresponds better to my problem but I do not see how to use it with system parameters, do you have an idea?

What, exactly, are you trying to have in different languages? Is it the "report" chunk that is used for FormIt or other snippets that send email, or the email sent by the Manager when a user registers or wants to change his password?

For now only the mail send by the Manager when user is registred or when it change his password.

How are you having the users select their language?

The registration emails are defined in the System Settings but if you're looking to have a multilingual approach the Login add-on http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Login is much more flexible and allows for proper templating which could be used in a conditional way. It's my first attempt and i've define the user from the manager (not define the user language and i don't how to make that ?) but the manager language is French and I would have thought that the mail would be sent in French.

Just search for email in the system settings and they will come up.

Yes but in english, and if i make a translation the english user dont't receveive the notification in their language.
