i have a terrible issue for a month and i can't solve it. Afer migration to new server (before VPS - now VPS) my modx sites (revo 2.1.3) worked very slow. then I updated them to 2.2.6. but without success. I tuned frontend with caching of every possible snippet so finaly frontend works quite good but this wasn't neccessary before. But backend runs terrible slow. opening of resouce sometimes takes 15 seconds? i migrated on same server as well my modx sites made in evo and these work perfect(front + back). At the begin of using this new server our new hosting provider told us, that we have an issue in application (revo): there is neverending listing through whole folder structure during every visit - function lstat??? and it couses CPU overload. So we descided to try VPS with one own core. Still the same backend speed. Finaly I installed fresh modx revo on this server - "virgin instalation" and it works wrong as well - each request in backend takes 10 sec. But sometimes it is very fast.
i dont understand it.
Any ideas?
i asked server provider to check all modx server requirements - response was there are no issues on their side. We have permanently about 30 people on our websites together. We have 3 revo sites and 3 evo sites here. nothing special. here is server config:
