Is there some error logging in cloud, besides the one in manager?
I have imported a snapshot according to the instructions and the manager is working fine but i'm getting a 500 server error on the front. But i have no idea where to look for errors?

I initially had the same kind of problem. There are log files in /log. Usually the one which I need to look at it error.log. Depending on when your cloud was created, you might need to sort on Last modified (because the clouds used to create files every hour).

That's just it, i can't see a folder or anything that says log.
Where is yours exactly residing?

Using sftp, if you go above the www directory to /, there is a log directory with several log files.
This raises a somewhat related question. The nginx_access.log file there is over 42Mb. Is this a common, server-wide access file, or limited to this domain's activity? It's read-only for my sftp user, but really, a 42Mb log file?
