Revo 2.26 manager - Content saved to resource is showing as blank window

I have built a revo site on my local mac, and all works fine. Have set up revo on linux host server to test local site out on clients hosting.

When I import the local sql database it does so succesfully to live host, all looks fine on front end and can log into manager. However on most of the resources (web pages) that have content added, the content window is showing as empty (although the front end is displaying the correct content).

Live host settings:

MODX version: Revo 2.2.6-pl (traditional)
ExtJS Version: 3.4.0
Smarty Version: 3.0.4
PHPMailer Version: 2.0.4
MagpieRSS Version: 0.72
Database type: mysql
Database version: 5.1.68-cll
Database charset: latin1
Database name: realloca_modx
Database server: localhost
Table prefix: modx_

Are you sure your remote database is set to use the same charset and collation as the local database?

yes, both local and remote sites are set to latin1 character set

Did you fix as can't see the question mark anymore on url.

I ended up copying the resource contents manually for each resource from my local install of revo to the remote install, and it all works fine.

I am though mystified why site was showing content even though the resource contents were showing as blank resources

Anyhow its fixed now

I was going to suggest manually doing a page to see if the manager showed the content to rule out there being a problem with install. Be interesting to compare the DB data for the content before you manually entered it with what it looks like after you manually entered it.

Anyhow glad it's all working for you.

Also not sure you aware but you still have "modx revolution" as your site_name so it's appearing in the browser title. It's one of those things i always forget about and don't notice as easy now due to the browser tabs cutting the title down.
