because of the modx-caching-problems according to this thread:

I would like to ask if it is possible to implement the feature ( $object->clearCache() ) suggested by Bob Ray very soon.
Because of not having the possibility of selective clearing cached snippets it is very hard to work with modx and big websites as described in the thread.
If this is not possible maybe you can suggest another way how to achieve selective clearing of cached snippets.
