After a broken file-transfer via FTP when upgrading to revo 2.06 i messed it up, and I lost my config.core.php-file(s). So now I can't upgrade my installation anymore, only make a new installation. And then I will loose all my data. And of course, this time with no backup. sad

I think the /manager/config.core.php is alright, but the /core/congig.core.php is gone/written over. I'm not sure what the /root/config.core.php does.

    1. Is there a way to restore/reconfigure those files?
    2. If not, I made a backup of the hole database in phpMyAdmin. Can the site be set back to normal with a new install and reload the sql-backup-file to the database?

upgrading from MODx Revo 2.02 to 2.06
    php: 5.3.21
    Apache 2
    MySQL 5.08 (?)

    Thanks.
I think, thererfor I am! But what I am, and why...?

Create a new database and run setup with those database details, once that's done edit the config/config.core.php file to point it back to the original database, rerun setup in upgrade and it should be ok

MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP THE ORIGIONAL DATABASE FIRST
