So I’ve got a client that needs a Real Estate site built in which signed up Web Users (after they gain an account of course) can upload their property’s information (price, pictures, etc.) into the site. Once the Manager approves the info, it would be added in the list of properties. Of course that would be easy for the Manager to do, but can a Web User do this? I’m not even sure where to begin on this one.
Thanks!

I think you can use the [[newspublisher]] snippet to allow logged-in users to create an unpublished document, the manager can just mark it published and it will be up.
You can use the [[personalize]] snippet to show the menu choice "add a new property" just to logged-in users.
You’ll have to customize the newspublisher template and then use a custom ditto template to display the pages.
It’s definitely do-able.

Hey Bob, Thanks for your advice. I played around with the [[newspublisher]] snippet and it works perfect for this case. Definitely will have to modify the template, but it’s great.
Thanks again!

Maybe I spoke too soon.

I’m now trying to figure out how to customize the tpl {{FormBlog}}. It already has certain fields, (pagetitle, pub_date, etc.), but I can’t seem to figure out how to customize and add my own fields. I thought about adding TV’s to the template the snippet is on to match the corresponding fields I added to the form, but after submitting the form, the values inputed into the additional fields on the form are not posting those values to the TV’s.
Anyone had any experience with this before? Customizing the tpl {{FormBlog}} for the NewsPublisher snippet to collect additional info? On the eForm it’s easy to do, but not finding that same flexibility here.
By the way, I’m running NewsPublisher 1.4 on MODx 0.9.6
