Good news is that I got a site working on a host by turning off compress_js...

... however, I want that nice compression speed boost.

Could someone point me in the direction of what I need to tell my host to provide to allow Js compression in the manager?

Had a look around the forum and docs, but I haven't turned up anything (just lots of people relieved that their install finally works).

    Cheers,
    Shaun
    • Hello,

If I recall correctly they are using the Minify project (https://code.google.com/p/minify/ or new site https://github.com/mrclay/minify) to power than functionality. The requirements note php 5.2.1+ and zlib, granted I have had issues with servers meeting those requirements.

      I hope that helps some
