My articles are showing up in SimpleSearch results.
The articles themselves are published but the main Articles resource (with the coffee cup) is set as 'Unpublished'. I thought this would prevent them from being searched while the Blog was being developed?
Is this an Articles bug or a SimpleSearch bug?

Ditto used to have a &seeThroughUnpublished property, but it looks like SimpleSearch doesn't. You could use the &exclude property to ignore them.
In Articles, the publish status is not inherited, as the children have their own thing going on.
For SimpleSearch, I group all my resources neatly in the Tree, under specific containers, then just say exactly what you want open for search:
the numbers being parents (containers). The search will trickle down to the children by default.
