Cannot send info with forms since updating to 2.2.5

I updated my site to Revo 2.2.5 and am now unable to use method='post' on my forms and $_REQUEST[] on my snippets.

When I do a dump (eg: var_dump($_POST);) it shows nothing.

Is there some update in 2.2.5 that prevents posting between pages?

update to 2.2.6. far more stable

After searching for ages I found you must use eg:
```
$modx->request->getParameters("name", "POST");
```
Instead of
```
$_REQUEST['name'] ;
```
...pretty annoying that that was not obvious...
