migx directory isn't writable

    I've been through this tutorial: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/MIGX.Use+resource-specific+mediasource+and+multifile-uploader

    I've double checked everything. I created the folder checked write permissions are 755 but still cannot upload as the ajax uploader throws up the warning that the folder isn't writable. The sub folder for the doc ID is created but no images make their way over.

    If I change the tv media source to Filesystem then I can upload into the root of the site.

    Has anyone else experienced this? [ed. note: jumble last edited this post 11 years, 2 months ago.]

      did you create your folder by ftp or by modx-file-manager? (owner-issues?)

          darn it. Tried again and its worked. I musn't have deleted the folder the first time due to ownership issues from creating it within modx. Made sure it was deleted this time round, created it via FTP and hey presto. Thanks Bruno
