I've been running back and forth with this problem for the past day or two and now need some help. Here is part of the structure of my albums
Mens Range
- 2012
- tops
- trousers
- hats
- wallets
- 2011
- tops
- trousers
- hats
- wallets
- 2010
- tops
- trousers
- hats
- wallets
What is required is that on the basic gallery page it shows one image with two album options Mens Range and Womens range (not shown). When the user clicks on mens range it takes them to the new page obviously with the new galAlbum number in the URL. They then have the album choices of 2012, 2011 etc, when they click on that same thing happens and now they can chose type of clothes and when they finally click on one of those they can view the images.
So the problems I've need help with are:
1) How do I set up an if statement to basically say 'if there are no images then use album snippet else use gallery snippet'
2) how do I set the gallery snippet to use a parent of galAlbum - so basically whatever page I'm on it knows to use the current album as the parent to display it's child albums.
I thought I was making some headway yesterday but in the closing parts of the day managed to take a giant leap backwards. I'm going to try and press on today and will post any interesting results but any help would be very much apprecaited.
