So I’ve got a company that needs a secure login area to be set up...no problem. But how do I design it so that a MODx manager can set up a new account for a particular client of this company that will be coming to the site to access their personal login area? Essentially it’s a company that provides tutoring and people pre-pay and use their credits as they get tutoring. The company I’m designing this for needs it so that the customer can come to the site, log into their own account and see how much credit they have left. Obviously the manager will have to go in and manually enter those values on that document specifically for that client.
I know it can be done in a way that would be time consuming for the company I let manage the site, but what I’m trying to figure out is how can there be one login page that takes that client (one who is paying to be tutored) to their own secure login page based on their username and password.
Right now the only way I can think of doing this is have the manager set up a new Web User then have to grant access to that user to certain documents. But that would be time consuming for the company, right?
In a nutshell I just need the ability to be able to create individual login accounts taking that person to their own individual login page.
Just wandering how the easiest way would be going about this...

I think it’s less about creating a new/unique webuser group and more about (with WebLoginPE, at least) allowing your webusers to login and see their own (custom) information.
So you’d create a field that’s tied to the user (like a TV but for the user, I think, could be wrong since I’ve never used WebLoginPE). So each and every user can see their own info, which would include a "credits remaining" value. That value could be edited by the admin, though I’m not sure what kind of interface WebLoginPE has for that.
In Weblogin PE you can easily have extended profiles for your users and the user can login and view their full profile. You can also add more data and have additional database fields, so I guess you can do quite a bit. However all users will still have a common user group so anything beyond the profile will be shared unless they have a unique user group...I think.

Thank you for everyone’s input on this...I’ll have to look it over and figure it out now...
Thanks!
