    My admin user was deleted.
I've been able to create a new user by copying another in phpmyadmin.

How can I give my new admin absolute power (from phpmyadmin)?
    Thanks.

      Hi,

In phpmyadmin, in your MODx database, let's say, modxdb, look for the table, modxdb_users.
Observe the columns, there should be one named "sudo", extreme right?
Observe the rows, and find your new admin user.
Click edit, scroll down, find the sudo field, change value from 0 to 1

If you could not copy the password for the admin to log in
      try http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Resetting+a+User+Password+Manually
If you still need to change password in phpmyadmin, there are numerous tutorials online, simple hash stuff etc.

      Cheers

Harden your MODX site by passwording your three main folders: core, manager, connectors and renaming your assets (thank me later!)
