FDM and Catalog

Did anyone tried manual from Wiki:

I need to create simple catalog with picture and description and was thinking that this manual is a good start, but without success.
FDM is istalled, MaxiGallery is installed, eForm is right version (using 0.9.6 MODx on local WAMP).

I have icon for Add Product, when I press it get new page with form, fill form, click submit, but nothing happens, no products, in manager Products branch is empty and browser is again on page with Add Product button and at the bottom there is: No documents found.

Can someone with good MODx background check the manual and fix errors, there will be many people like me trying to use it.

Also, can someone explain what those strings are:
[+aa_start+]
[+aa_stop+]
[+aa_totla+]
...

I’ve been trying to use this for a week. I can get all the items showing, but the images just aren’t appearing and its getting annoying.

Knowing me I’ve probably not checked the syntax for the Maxi Gallery call or something.

If anyone could help it would be great

I never used FDM but NewsManager. Then there is this: http://modxcms.com/extras/package/577 (supports TVs!)
When you can create documents its just adding MaxiGallery to the same template.

Then use Ditto to sort the products...

Set up MaxiGallery, Ditto, FDM etc by themselves so you get a feeling how it works.
But why not use ManagerManager and roles for a manager user instead?
