I have to make a catalog of around 300 products in French and English, each product will have a name, a description and a photo.
It is only a catalog, there will be no online sales. We want to be able to view the products by categories and sub-categories.
The products will be divided into 4 categories and each category contains 8 sub-categories.
I wonder what would be the best approach for this task :
- VisionCart (on maintenance, new release when?)
- miniShop
- ShopKeeper
- or only Modx without add-ons
And for multilingual function is that Babel can be used with these e-Commerce module?

For the catalog you can use MigxDb (if you don't need a cart).
Babel will be great for translating resources, but for product names and descriptions you can just add columns to your custom table.
