Hi, colleagues. I'm using the latest version of revo (2.2.6). Register confirmation emails get into spam. What are the reasons and are there any ways to prevent it?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Email deliverability issues are a complex topic and there are more factors than one could go into in a forum thread. I'd try to determine what your email service/client is the reason for filing as spam. You may want to take a look at this: http://www.mxtoolbox.com/ to see if there are IP related issues or SPF records issues. You may have better luck using SMTP via your email provider or an external SMTP service such as Mandrill or PostmarkApp.

Could you please explain in more detail how to do this?

It all depends on how your incoming mail server is configured to detect spam. Sometimes if certain mail headers are missing it will get flagged as spam. Sometimes certain words in the subject (or a missing subject) will get flagged. Even mail coming from a block of IP addresses that are in some blacklist or another can be flagged, even if your exact IP address isn't doing anything wrong. I've had that happen a number of times when I had my site on Bluehost; one of Bluehost's customers was alleged to be spamming, so Bluehost's entire block of IP addresses was put on a blacklist. They spend a lot of time getting their IP block off of the blacklists.

There's really no way to tell how your mail server's spam detection is configured from here. The best you can do is try to make sure your mail conforms to all the usual standards of headers and content.
