Answered Tag's modifiers in Revo 2.2.6

Hi everybody!

Any way to know what modifiers/outputfilters are available for a certain placeholder tag?

ex.: I'm putting [[+lateat_posts]] in a ArticleTemplate and in a containerArticleTemplate. It call a chunk latestPostsTpl, especified in Articles container advanced setings. I want a different chunk template in every mainTemplate (one chunk in ArticleTemplate and another in containerArticleTemplate for same tag).

Im trying something like this:
```
[[+latest_posts:latestPostsTpl=`alternativeChunk.ArticlesLatestPostTpl`]]
```
or
```
[[+latest_posts:tpl=`alternativeChunk.ArticlesLatestPostTpl`]]
```
but nothing works.

I'm so ruffled with docu (believe me, IS SO HARD, at least for the Spanish-speaking rookie...).

This kind of situation is frecuent for me, searching long time to find the properties/parameters availables to pass/get for a certain element or his output placeholders, so there is some method?

Hi,

what you're trying to do, cannot work =)...output modifiers take an input (from the tag on which they are set on) and then do something with it...the available ones you find here: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Input+and+Output+Filters+(Output+Modifiers)

you can also make custom ones, like a :latestPostsTpl one, but they need to be a snippet taking what's inside the placeholder (it's value) and process it somehow, in your case into a chunk...but I think it's kinda overkill because you could just create a different chunk for every scenario/template/whatever and then put the placeholder tag into that chunk.
