This is more of a question about the site map which is somehow good for search engines, I have a page that I use as a dynamic site map using wayfinder , now this works great for a human user but I have just been experimenting with the site map snippet and it gives me output like this

    http://www.site-name.co.uk/index.php?id=1 2007-10-09

I am sure this will sound like a stupid question but is this just meant to be linked to in the normal manner form somewhere on the site or is there some other way of getting google to read this in xml format.

My idea at the moment is just to add this under the existing site map but not sure if there is any point in that.

Can someone please give me some very basic info on this as I have no idea on XML google etc.

    Cheers

    Ian
