Hello, this has me quite a bit stumped because I don't know what's causing it. I am using wamp to test and run a version of modx. For some strange reason this version of modx when double clicking resources on the tree do not open the resource up.
To make it worse if they have sub items with the little "arrow" indicating there is more items, when double clicked initially it does the gesture to load the items but it never drops the list. I have to double click at least 4-10 times till it FINALLY drops the list down. I have MODX Revolution 2.2.0 installed in another folder within the same wamp (no they do not share the same mysql DB, they both have different Dbs just in case anyone ask lol), and that one the element tree works wonderfully!
Is there an issue with / bug with the element tree on this version, and if there is no fix, should I downgrade?

You only need to single-click on a resource in the tree to open it for editing. And you single-click on the little arrow to the left of a "folder" resource to open the branch. No double-clicking needed.
Well even when I single click the same happens. It took 4 single clicks to get the drop from web > home to show the items, and it took 22 single clicks to open a sub resource. And when I single click a resource it does nothing, it's suppose to open it no? I have to right click everything.
Please keep in mind the loading animation already happens. Like it's ready for me to click it but nothing.
Have you tried turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings?
Just tried the above and still having the same issue.

At this point I'd be inclined to remove it and re-install.
Yea going to do that as well, I also noticed my "New Template Variables" page with the input tab, the drop down to pick the input type remains only in text and won't deliver me any other options.
Will reinstall and update thread with results. bbl.
Reinstall definitely solved the problem. Thank you gentlemen!
