Can't test selection of database on Installation [Solved]

Hi,

I'm trying to install Revo om a new server and I can't get past the db stage.

It connects tot he db ok but then I get this message for the next step

"Checking database: MODX could not create your database. Please manually create your database and then try again."

Well the db was manually created and creating new ones makes no difference.

Anyone know how to get past this?
