Answered BDListings Random Feature Snippet Call Format

    I am creating a featured listing widget using @bdListings to display randomly featured listings, and am attempting to the following call which isn't working. It should work according to other posts I've read dealing with random selections. I think the issue is the limit of "1" implies the snippet is only pulling one feature and the random selection of the one is subsequently irrelevant. 

    [[!bdListings? &redirectResource=`14` &tplRow=`featureFooterTpl` &sortby=`RAND()` &limit=`1`]]


    Anyone have any ideas?

      Wow, OK. Threw myself a pass here (and only took 5 mins). I found a little hint in the bdListings docs to use &sort=`` to override the default sort. Added that and the following call works.

      [[!bdListings? &limit=`1` &redirectResource=`14` &tplRow=`featureFooterTpl` &sort=`` &sortby=`RAND()`]]


      Go figure. Thanks for the hint Mark;)
