    hello

i’ve searched the forum and found a few similiar topics but doing what is said hasn’t helped me.

i installed a new version of modx (latest version) and initially i could log in to the manager - but now i am unable to log in - i don’t get an error message, just the log in screen appears again after i click login - if i type the wrong username password it informs me that they are incorrect.

i’ve cleared the cache tried on different browsers and different computers (pc’s and mac) - but still get the same problem.

i have a feeling something is not right on the server with regards to sessions being set up.

any suggestions / help would be greatful.

Yeah, definitely a problem with how your PHP is configured to handle session files.
