Login.UpdateProfile and &user

Hi everybody,
im using modx revo for 1 Month, so i am in the learning stage right now. My first question ist:

I m building an admin panel for my client, where he can manage registred users, for updating an specific user i call:

[[!UpdateProfile? &user=`[[!getReqParam? &name=`userID`]]` &redirectToLogin=`0` &validate=`fullname:required,email:required:email` &useExtended=`1`]]

BUT! On update i get the confirmation message, but actualy no changes were applied. On "Security > Manage Users > MyUser" nothing changed.

Make sure your the person editing has the proper rights to modify users, does it work with the admin account or it doesn't work with any?

Thanks for the fast reply. I am logged as admin with "super user" on web and mgr.

I think the problem is how your requesting the user id, can you make sure that is working properly?

I used FormIt in conjunction with UpdateProfile in order to update users via the front end using FormItRetriever to pass the selected user to edit.

there lies the problem... the url query userID gets overriden when form is posted, so on update the logged users profile (admin in my case) gets updated with the new data...

I will try implementing your solution... any hints?

What I did is make a page where I get a list of users in a specific group, based on the selection I use formit to pass the user ID using FormItRetriever to the actual form that updates the selected user.
