The central manager area, where admin works is empty suddenly. Only on Dashboard it still shows the new widgets and so. But any other page lost its central edit area. I can Quick Add a Resource... but not click on it to edit. Can not change system settings and so on. The top menu is there and the left tree structure also works...
Any idea? We had configuration on using HTML5 but we used that for long time and all seemed fine. In any case, we can not change any setting as clicking on all menu itmes, including "System Settings" shows empty main pane.

A couple of things to try, if you haven't already:
- Turn off the compress_css and compress_js System Settings
- Delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies
In the core/cache there are 16 folders...can we delete them all?
How do we change system settings, if we can not reach any of the main panels in the Manager?
We completely reinstalled Modx and now it works.
What might have gone wrong is that we took backup from our test server, but did not backup the /assets/newmanagerfolder. We do not use /assets/manager for security.
We simply renamed /assets/manager -> /assets/newmanagerfolder and updated the required parameters. But it seems that there are some settings in the manager folder as well.. WE do not know which, but now we also backup the complete /assets/newmanagerfolder and all ok.
