I just found this problem with using AJAX search and Internet Explorer.

I’m building a site for a customer and when you enter a word into the search box for AJAX search, hit enter and land on the results page, everything works fine. Then when you click on the link on the results page to take you to the page you want and try to click back in your browser, an error occurs...IE6 gives the "The page cannot be displayed" message. IE7 tells you "Webpage has expired".

This problem doesn’t occur in Fire Fox or other browsers I’ve tested on, but only seems to show up on Internet Explorer.

Here’s a test link where you can enter your information into a search box:

Enter a word to search for in the search box at the top under the top navigation, something like "BOSU". When you land on the results page (of course using Internet Explorer so you can see the problem), click on a link and then try to click back...this is where the error occurs.

Has anyone else had this problem before? I’ve tried making the landing page for the search results both cacheable and not...same problem occurs both times.

I’m using AJAX Search 1.6 on MODx 0.9.6

I’m running on an Apache server.

    Thanks!

Not a good idea to publicly post a link to an info.php file; too much that could be used by those with evil intent is displayed. Just version info is all that is required (apache, php, modx, mysql)

Thanks Susan...I’ll take care of that now.

Has anyone seen this problem before?
