Hi guys! I want to have by Author, date below the article's title. I created a ditto call in my blog page:

Summary template (where all the article are listed)
    [[Ditto? &language=`spanish-utf8`
             &truncText=`Continuar...`
             &parents=`11`
             &extenders=`summary`
             &truncLen=`300`
             &tpl=`ditto.summary`
             &orderBy=`pkDate DESC,pagetitle DESC`
             &dateFormat=`%d %B %Y`]]

that works just fine. Then when you click any of the post you'll go to the page where you can read the complete article. I want to have the by Author, date below the article's title on this page too.

    Article template
The issue I'm having is that I created another ditto call for this page:
    [[Ditto? &parents=`11`
             &tpl=`ditto.author.date`
             &dateFormat=`%d %B %Y`]]

and the result is that I'm having the by Author, date twice on this page.

Any help? This is the url: http://segaconsultores.com.ve/blog
Thanks. [ed. note: labanino last edited this post 11 years, 3 months ago.]
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
    • You should use a snippet to format the createdby and createdon values for these individual blog post pages. Ditto is intended for lists, not single items.
