2 error's in modx

Hy

i have used modx 2.2.6 ver.. and i want to use EvoGallery as per my client requirement ..

when i install the EvoGallery its show the error that u have missing on file in



when i have check in the manager there are no folder avilabe with the name of include,after that i have create the new incldue foler and push the "version.inc.php" file in it .. after that i am able for run my setup .. after done two steup's of my setup .i found 2 error's

Database connection failed!
Database could not be selected!

The clue is in the name: EvoGallery is for MODX Evolution. You either need to use Evolution (latest version 1.0.8), or to use something intended for MODX Revolution 2.2.6 (I believe there's an extra called Gallery).

i did nt understand .. u means to say i have used right now "MODX Revolution 2.2.6" .. and EvoGallery is for MODX Evolution..

so now i have to use "MODX Evolution" ..? so i can run the EvoGallery .. right??

Yeah i have check .. i have also install now "MODX Evolution" and the EvoGallery is working with "MODX Evolution".

So now i have already ready my full website in "MODX Revolution 2.2.6" ..

now can u tell me what to do ..??

and what is difference in "MODX Evolution" or "MODX Revolution" ..?

If your main requirement is to be able to use EvoGallery, then yes, you will need to set the site up with MODX Evolution. As it says in the documentation, "EvoGallery is a dynamic gallery extra for MODx Evolution", and indeed its name was changed from "Gallery Module" to emphasize that fact.

i means to say EvoGallery is available in only "MODX Evolution" .. right ??

No, EvoGallery is available for MODx Evolution. The commonly used gallery add-on for Revolution is called Gallery.

There are also some interesting tutorials on using MIGx TVs for gallery management. hmm i did not see how the EvoGallery is working and how its look in the slider ..? which link u referred my for slider in "MODX Revolution" .. it slider working is it also look like "EvoGallery"
