Clean install of Revo 2.2.6 on php 5.4 (have tried 5.2 also) and MySQL 5. Runs Apache/1.3.33 on Linux. Can download and install packages but there is no Add New Packages or Search for Packages Locally tab in the Package Manager interface. Have used Opera 12.13 and Firefox 18.0.2 on Ubuntu.
I am probably missing something?
I believe the "Download Extras" button should have a little drop-down arrow to the extreme right; carefully click it for the option of "Search Locally For Packages" , it appears right after "Select a Provider".

I had the opposite problem. I could search locally, but I didn't realize that if you clicked on left side of the button, it took you to the repository.
