I need to do a site with some kind of a dynamic drilldown menus.
We also want it to be used for product selection.
A ModX forum search mostly turned up posts 5 years old.
I was told "make it like Amazon or tigerdirect.com". On these sites they dynamically generate the menu based on the customers menu choice or search term.
Luckily this will be much simpler (a few hundred technical papers, products, and data sheets). Of course we want to give customers multiple ways of searching:
1. A default menu.
2. A checkbox menu to select products.
3. A basic search box.
I assume this will be easy in Wayfinder. If someone could point me in the right direction or some code examples, it would be a great help. Please go easy on me. I'm still learning ModX.
