TinyMCE 3.3.9.2 not working in Evo 1.0.8

Hi all,
after upgrading an old website from 1.0.2 to 1.0.8 (including an update of the TinyMCE to version 3.3.9.2), the content window of a resource shows just the HTML code, despite of the fact that the TinyMCE is activated and is selected as the used editor - and the checkbox "Rich-Text" is ticked in the Resource settings.
What could be the reason for this? What can I do?

Try to reupload all tinymce files

Are there any JavaScript error in the browser console?

Maybe I could offload modified and updated latest version 3.5.8 (MODx plugin + TinyMCE library) to GitHub if that helps?
Works in Evolution 1.0.8 here...

In the meantime I stumbled on a thread of someone who had the same problem and solved it by replacing the Tiny 9.3.3.2 by the version 3.4.2.1.
So I did this too, ending up in a problem - often mentioned in the forums in the past - : you can not insert images in the Tiny editor. You can select the wanted image in the file tree, but it will not be inserted.
(An old related thread is f.e. https://forums.modx.com/forums/thread/46121/tinymce-3-2-4-1-a-and-modx-1-0-3-doesn-t-work-with-inserting-an-image#dis-post-266725).
So next I will try to reinstall 9.3.3.2 (and report back).

I have this susue since 1.05, no mre tinymce is actually working on this site.
I tried ALL version back with NO results.

I have in the config menu, Interface et fonctionnalités option a weird stuff:

The "what RTE to be used" option only shows "none" AND NO CHOICE is available in the list.

Looking in phpmyadmin I found a "which_editor" field in modx_system_settings table which contains "TinyMCE" as value........????

Upgrading to TinyMCE 9.3.3.2 brought back the ability to insert images via the filebrowser. But there is a new issue now: The thumbnails created by mcpuk are corrupted; see the example.
May be I just need a clean copy of the directory manager\media\browser\mcpuk\

I look back to a series of upgrades of MODx, starting from 0.9.6.3 till today, and nearly every time the only trouble I had was with the TinyMCE...

By the looks of things the PM system doesn't like ".7z"

I have zipped the .7z file in a ".zip" and uploaded again, you should see it now
