    Hi,

I recently removed MyComponent from ModX and now when I try to download it again from the package manager the "downloading..." window pops-up and runs indefinitely. Is there a way to download MyComponent again after removing it?

That's just a simple file download, so it shouldn't have anything to do with MyComponent itself. See if you can download anything else. The repository may have a temporary problem. If you can download other packages:

Make sure MyComponent is not showing in Package Manager at all. If it is, remove it. Keep doing this until it no longer shows.

      If that doesn't do it:

See if there are any MyComponent files in the core/packages directory. If there are, you may have to remove them and also check for and remove records in the modx_transport_packages table in the Database with PhpMyAdmin.

Thanks! It was just a ModX thing. I downloaded it directly from the site and placed it in my packages folder and went to "Search Locally for Packages" in the Package Manager.

It's Odd. I just tried downloading it in Package Manager and it worked fine.

Note that you won't see available updates for packages installed with "Search Locally" (though none are scheduled any time soon).
