You might check the path in the modx_workspaces table in the DB and the one in the various config.core.php files:

 MODX root directory
 /manager/
 /connectors/
 /setup/includes/

You probably let MODX delete it when you installed the source site. You'll need to download the exact same version, unzip it, and copy the setup folder to the MODX root directory. Then run setup.
