Answered Search Local Images

    Maybe I'm overlooking the obvious but when searching for an image to insert into, for example, a blog post, is there no way to search the local computer? It seems the only option is to first manually upload (ftp) the image to the remote server so it can be seen by the MODX Filesystem then it can be selected for use within the app. This seems a very clunky way to go about things, especially for clients who aren't savvy about placing things on a server. I'm no great fan of Wordpress but it's image handling/organizing is so much simpler.

    Please tell me there's a more straightforward way.

      You are overlooking something wink

      To upload from the file browser whether using a TV, the Files tab or the Rich Text editor, click the "Upload Files" button to open the file transfer popup window, and click on "Add". You can add as many as you like, then click "Upload" and they'll all be uploaded.
