Add banner image in each page

Hello all,

i m very new in modx..So kindly plz help me for my problems..

Suppose i have a pages in menu bar

HOME|ABOUT US|NEWS|MEDIA|PROJECTS}CONTACT US

From the resource i can manage the tittle description and content for the particular each page..But i want to add a dynamic banner for each page .. so how can i manage this in mod X ..?

i have also try the new TV .. but i don't know how the manage the TV with my each page ..? i want to add the dynamic banner with my each page .. so that means if i have 50 pages in my website.. so i have to create new 50 TV's for just my banner ..?

Plz give me suggestions

You just need to create 1 TV. Attach that TV to the template by going in Template Access tab. This same TV will appear on all of your pages.

As per u say i have follow you .. but can u tell me where is the option of Template Access tab..? from where i can select the TV for the template ..?

And after that u say that TV will active for my all pages ..? after that how can i handle the Banner images for all pages from TV ..?

Yeah from the TV there are on option "Template Access tab".. i have select one template for this TV .. Nw can u tell me how can i manage the images for that TV for Each Page ...?

When you edit the resources that use that template, you will see the TV in its Template Variables tab. Simply select (or upload and select) the image you want for that page. Put the TV tags ([[*myTV]]) in the template where you want the image to show.

yeah its working ...

But when i have click on upload button,At that time i can asses for uploads the image only in my mod'x folder...

if i did NT have image in modx template image folder,then how can i upload the image from the any another directory in my computer ...??

plz let me knw if it is possible in modx..?

Click the "upload" icon in the upper left of the file browser window. A new window will pop up allowing you to choose any number of images from your computer and upload them. Once the image you want is uploaded, select it.
