Articles - How to disable 'Create articles here' context menu

hi guys!

Is there any way how to disable context menu "Creat articles here"? I could disable others (symlink etc.) via ACLs, but I can't figure out how to do the same with New articles. Is it even possible to do it via modification of the plugin?

Thanks for any help in advance!

I'd also like to know if anyone has a solution to this? Thanks!

Commenting lines 110 to 116 in /core/components/articles/model/articlescontainer.class.php will disable that, but will do permanently.

I guess modifying that code to test for an admin user could be done to have it only appear for admins.

Or add a feature request to the github https://github.com/splittingred/Articles for container creator to be user group assignable. [ed. note: absent42 last edited this post 13 years, 6 months ago.]
