Hi all ModX enthusiasts,
I am struggling with following problem for several days and I could not figure out solution, which leads me to possibility I could found a bug. Anyway, I wanted to ask here first.
So, i have got multi-language site = more contexts. Every context has got following:
* unique User Group
* unique Media source
* same resource structure (resource tree) as other contexts
In other words "Every language mutation has got its own, indpenendent & isolated group of editors and content files".
My problem lies in behaviour of media sources in given context. For example i will have:
* Context cz -> CZ media source (ID:7) -> COM user group
* Context com -> COM media source (ID:8) -> COM user group
+ Image TV (with CZ media source bound to CZ context & COM source to COM context)
Now - as the superuser. If I create new resource in CZ context (with Image TV mentioned above) and click to browser to select a picture, I will be in CZ media source. That's OK.
But if I will do the same with creation of resource in COM context, opening the browser will send me to CZ media source instead of COM media source. Even if I try to list a COM media source to select a picture, I am not allowed (attempt to choose the picture in COM media using "OK" button will switch automatically to CZ media and browser remains open).
Second problematic scenario related to this problem is this:
Logged as user of CZ user group, browser for Image TV work as expected.
Logged as user of COM user group, there is selector missing under the Image TV. Because of this, I cannot even click on that selector to open the media browser.
Editing the same resource works as expected - in both scenarios and examples (so current workflow must be: create resource -> save -> edit -> set image).
I figured out media source with lowest ID works OK, others don't.
PS: I deleted cache (both in manager and on the filesystem), flushed permissions & sessions.
