Hi,
I downloaded 2.2.6 and installed (upgrade from exiting install option).
At first config file was not writeable. So I fixed and ran again. Then it was a successful install, but told me that some database fields already existed. I figured this was from the previous attempt to install.
Then I logged into manager. First thing that I noticed was that there was no Tree to the left. Then clicking on items in the nav menu, some loaded, some didn't.
Using Chrome, I viewed in Console and was constantly getting ext-?.js errors (? is I forget what came after the dash).
Then big issue was that I was getting FAST-CGI error when trying to view the actual site and not the manager.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running MODx on IIS 7.5 with PHP 5.3.8 and MySQL 5.5.17
Prior to the updates I was running MODx 2.2.1 on same config and everything worked fine.
I am not using FTP, I RDP into windows server, download 2.2.6. Extract files in Download folder. Copy them over Existing MODX files, then run setup.
After reading some other posts, sounds like I may need to Merge files instead of overwriting. Not really sure how to do that.

I have now noticed that the above bug only applies to Google Chrome.
The MODx Manager seem to work fine in Safari and Firefox?
Stinks, but will have to live with it. Something you should look into as I though that I did something wrong during the install process and started missing up tons of other things.

Try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings. If you can't do it in the Manager, you can modify the modx_system_settings table in the DB with PhpMyAdmin (or the equivalent).
After changing the settings, delete all the files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies before logging in.
