Thanks, Susan, but my point is a different one:
I want to be able to just fill in a DATE when editing a resource, not being force to allways deal with a DATE-TIME combo. It is just a "visual thing" – I don't want to change the way the date is stored in the DB, I just don't want to see it. ;-)
MODX should leave me a choice how a dateTV is displayed while the user is editing the resource. Some sort of format string. And there should be a default setting for date and time, so that I would be able to set the time to 00:00:00 or the date to 1.1.1970 or so.
