    Hi all,

So I'm working on a ModX website and put the 'site_offline' to true. When you visited the website a text appears like: "website is offline...". When I log-in to the manager I'm able to view the website and construct it without the public sees the results.

Now I designed a 'coming-soon' page. How can I replace the text with my HTML page?

    Thanks in advance smiley

I'm usually doing the same thing by just leaving all the "normal" sites of a website unpublished and then setting site_start to the coming soon page.

Thanks:) But can you still see the pages when you logged in?

Sure, a manager user with permission to view_unpublished (what you have as admin user) can always see the resources (also in frontend).

            Thanks voor this answer.

Before I put al my pages to unpublished, has anyone another solution?

In the System Settings, filter by area "site" and set the Site Unavailable page to your resource. Logged-in Manager users can still view the whole site.
